Bio
I like the simple things like reading one of the many books I keep buying from Amazon, renting a DVD and watching it while having some microwave popcorn, socialising, or going out to a coffee shop or for a nice meal (if I'm lazy, phoning up for a nice meal) and of course spending time with my partner Sara.
I love all things Spanish (the food, the people, the weather), my favourite city is Barcelona which I think has some really romantic places in it and I have enjoyed going to Spanish language schools there, in Peru and in Buenos Aires.

If somehow I make decent money before I retire then I would definitely love to have a home in Spain where my friends could come and visit me.
Films/ DVDs I like include Seinfeld box sets, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Annie Hall, Manhattan, Amelie, Casablanca, Roman Holiday, Hannah and her Sisters, Play it Again Sam, Freedom Writers, Dig!, Easy Rider, 8 1/2, Three Colour Red, Alphaville, Bande a Parte, The Death Proof, Profound Desire of the Gods, Lost in Translation, Dazed and Confused, Bagdad Cafe, Singles, Fear Eats The Soul, Kill Bill, The Princess Bride, Reality Bites, Rushmore, The Station Agent, Star Wars, Tron, The Seven Samurai, and various others by Akira Kurosawa, Kieslowski, Eric Rohmer, Quentin Tarantino, Woody Allen and Pedro Almadovar. Every month I rent a couple of films from Amazon which I think has a great service and tons of choice - since doing that I have felt less inclined to go to the effort of seeing films at the cinema and I enjoy going back to see more classic films.

I also have a weakness for self-help and pop psychology books (I know, the last refuge of the desparate!) for example the Chicken Soup series by Jack Canfield et al. I also think Barbara Sher has written some really good stuff. These days I tend not to read much fiction and am one of the few people never to read anything of Harry Potter or The Lord Of The Rings.
